Femi Kuti in Concert

So over Easter weekend, I had the fun and priviledge of attending Femi Kuti's concert in Philadelphia and Washington DC. I am friends with his band manager so I got to hang out a bit with Mr. Kuti. He is very nice, and a passionate performer. He also smelt really good.

Below are a few of my favorite photos from the event!!!

Emalohi and Femi Kuti!!! Thanks for a great concert!

Inspiring Person 7

Todays inspiring person is a wonderful young woman Adaeze E. I have known Adaeze for many years as we attended the same high school. Meeting her again for this photo shoot was very wonderful. She is poised, elegant in a very unintentional way and incredibly talented.

Adaeze has a Bachelors in Journalism from Belmont University. After graduation, she went on to work as a writer at one of the most amazing magazines Guernica magazine. Currently, she is studying Film at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Adaeze is inspiring because of her thirst for knowledge. She understands that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword. She has channeled all her creative energy into writing and creating powerful short films. She is also a dedicated and passionate woman with lofty goals.

I photographed Adaeze in one of the recording rooms at the School of Visual Arts where she was working on her next short film - a biography that includes aspects of the Nigerian Civil war. We also took a few shots outside. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Adaeze thank you so much for participating.

Inspiring Person 6

Today’s inspiring person is my secret lover Abby O!!! I love Abby because of her amazing bone structure, fabulous smile and of course the fact that she is an Edo girl. Abby has a BSc. in Business Administration and Marketing/Finance and Insurance.
Abby currently works as a Commercial Real Estate Developer at Souto Equities in New York City, but when she is not doing that, she is a stylist, fashion designer, fashion blogger and hair and make up expert. She is a part owner of Cranberry Fashion line and is also part of 4Aces.
Abby is inspiring because of her creativity, honest approach to life and her zeal to make an impact in the fashion industry. I photographed Abby on a beautiful day in Harlem. I had a lot of fun photographing Abby because she was daring, fun and those cheek bones kept flirting with my camera!!! Enjoy some of my favorite shots of Abby.
Thanks Abby for participating!!
